La Plante is a concept for a plant-based restaurant located in Los Angeles, La Plante means the plants in French. Plant-based or plant-forward eating patterns focus on foods primarily from plants.
The plant-based diet has also been shown to support health, including
lower risk of developing coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and increased longevity.

It is La Plante's mission to serve clean, organic, and plant-based food that nourishes customers’ bodies and minds. We used a customized logo, illustration, and unique color palette to reflect the restaurant’s refreshing, popin’, and sustainable personalities.
La Plante believes simple food and great coffee is the best way to start off your day.
To keep a cohesive experience for the customers, we wove the mission into the design as well, applying recycling and reusable materials for La Plante’s food containers.
We chose 100% recyclable paper for La Plante’s salad bowls, lowering their carbon footprint by 70%. For dining utensils, we selected 100% bioplastic, a renewable resource made from CO2-neutral organic biomass sources such as sugarcane, straw, or cellulose. With the perfect design and functions combined, the restaurant stays as a mission-driven pioneer in the plant-based food industry.
